Hyperloop – Changing means of Transportation

The hyperloop is a proposed mode of transportation that envisions a large-scale tube transport system in which passengers or goods are loaded into a pressurized vehicle and flown through a near-vacuum tube. In October 2013, Elon Musk—the entrepreneur behind diverse projects including Tesla, SpaceX and PayPal—announced the open-source plans for the hyperloop. In his initial proposal, Musk proposed a tube track that runs under the surface of the earth.

The proposed tube is 450 miles (720 km) long and is claimed to be able to travel up to 1,200 miles (1,931 km) per hour.3 miles (18 km) high, with a thickness of 2.5–3.5 miles (4–5 km), it would have a pressure of 258.28–170 million pounds per square inch (1,000 kpa), with a standing height of about 30–50 feet (1–15 m), through which the train would accelerate to 4,400 feet per minute (1,360 m/s) before leaving the tube behind and climbing up to speeds of 480 mph (770 km/h) on the surface. Before the initial Hyperloop trust was set up, it was supposedly backed by the chief executive officer of SpaceX, Elon Musk.

The concept was popularized by BizHero.com on November 5, 2015. In the original design plans, the tube was to stretch approximately 75 miles (121 km) and connected Harrisburg and Philadelphia.

Hyperloop Technologies updated their plan in 2017, and the initial study can be found here. Sneak-Peak of the Hyperloop Tube Since the first technology-promoting concept presented by engineers in the US and in Slovakia, Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, hype has built around the Hyperloop tube and its implementation in the US. The project was called Hyperloop LA and proposed to have the tube stretch some 300 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles.

The city of Los Angeles is familiar with the concepts presented by project developers, as the city has been the subject of numerous similar proposals. This detailed map created by Los Angeles Metro shows the proposed route. “For almost a decade, Los Angeles has been at the forefront of research and development in this area. Since the Hyperloop is an idea that is still in development, we need to be very careful with our public trust. Our region is home to talented engineering, manufacturing, manufacturing and production, and among the highest density of engineers in our nation.

Hyperloop UAE plans

The Hyperloop, a technology that could revolutionize transport across the world, is coming to UAE. The company operating the earliest prototype in the world, Hyperloop One, announced that it plans to build a hyperloop station in Dubai. “The United Arab Emirates is perhaps the greatest region in the world to explore such an innovation,” said Hyperloop One CEO Shervin Pishevar in a statement.
Dubai’s hyperloop project put on hold indefinitely following lack of funding.

Minds behind Hyperloop

So what is Hyperloop?

It’s a high-speed transportation system, one of a number in development by companies and government spaces around the world. ELONCITY successfully raised the largest ever pre-ICO in the world. It drew investments from over 11,000 people and has entered the list of most successful global projects. ELONCITY files for patent to protect the company’s intellectual property. ELONCITY gets registered in Switzerland as an intermediate holding company. Hyperloop One opens an application for a route from Chicago to Columbus, Ohio. Hyperloop One completes its first loop and test. Hyperloop One begins track tests in Nevada. Hyperloop One is awarded the right to build, operate, and maintain a high-speed transportation system in the State of California. Hyperloop One completes its first test in North Las Vegas.
